The Netgear N300 Wi-Fi Cable Modem Router connects to your cable Internet provider via a coaxial cable and offers wireless 802.11b/g/n technology that provides data transfer speeds up to 340 Mb/s for your devices. This technology uses the 2.4 GHz band to provide a greater coverage area within your home or office for connecting your wireless devices to the network. Furthermore, the N300 cable modem supports DOCSIS 3.0, which is an international standard, that lets cable providers deliver faster Internet speeds to your home.
In addition to wireless technology, two auto-sensing Ethernet ports allow you to connect up to two computers to the network so you can play HD games and watch HD videos without lag. Connect a USB storage drive to the USB 2.0 port and share the data on the drive with Windows and Mac computers connected to the network. Additionally, the N300 cable modem offers secure Wi-Fi connections with WPA/WPA2 security to protect your data when transmitting wirelessly.
